Orange Beach, AL – AvedaTM, the maker of plant-derived hair care, skin care, makeup and life style products is pleased to announce that it has selected The Wharf, located on the Intracoastal Waterway on the island in Orange Beach, as only its third Aveda Destination Spa in the United States. The Aveda Destination Spa at The Wharf, to be located in the first level of the elegant Boggy Point condominium, will join the award winning Blackberry Farm in Tennessee and the prestigious Grandview Lodge in Minnesota and will be one of just seventeen in the entire world. True Aveda fans - as well as new guests – will delight to find a complete menu of Aveda’s signature treatments, inspired by the area’s coastal elements and known for their individuality, transporting aromas and rejuvenating effects, available at The Wharf in spring 2007.
A modern sanctuary in a natural, yet elegant environment, the 10,000 square foot Aveda Destination Spa at The Wharf will be staffed by professionals who have undergone extensive training by Aveda, offering traditional massage and facial treatments, as well as custom treatments exclusively designed to utilize ingredients native to the Gulf Coast region. National retailers, as well as locally-owned stores and restaurants, including a Rave Motion Picture Theater, will be located in an airy, upscale village atmosphere along Main Street, located on first and second floor levels.
