THE MARINA AT THE WHARF SET TO OPEN IN NOVEMBER
PHASE I SLIP LEASING ANNOUNCED

Orange Beach, AL – The Marina at The Wharf is now accepting a limited number of long-term slip rental applications and is set to open Phase 1 by November 1, 2005. To be bordered by a half-mile long wooden boardwalk lined with lively shops, restaurants, cafés and pubs, The Marina is destined, over the next year, to become the Gulf Coast’s premier location for boaters looking for fun and safe harbor. The Marina will be the first of many exciting amenities and attractions to open at The Wharf and will offer state-of-the art facilities and first-class services in a spectacular destination resort setting currently under development on the island in Orange Beach, Alabama. The Marina is situated on a well-protected stretch of the southern bank of the Intracoastal Waterway (between Mobile and Perdido Key) between mile markers 158 and 159 at the Foley Beach Express Bridge. One of the first and only ‘destination marinas’ along the Gulf Coast, the Marina at The Wharf will attract both long-term and transient boaters year-round.

With a total of 210 long-term slips, some accommodating yachts up to 100 feet in length, 35 transient slips, and three fuel docks (each providing gas, diesel and hi-tech fuels and pump out facilities), the Marina at The Wharf will be one of the largest facilities along the Gulf Coast. Upon completion, highlights will include the acclaimed Technomarine floating dock system, pump-out services, wireless internet access, 30 and 50 amp electrical hook-ups, and will eventually offer a modern laundry & shower facility and well-stocked marina store. Additionally, the Marina will be using supplies, chemicals and detergents not harmful to the environment.

The security program will feature 24 hour/7-day-a-week proprietary uniformed security personal on roving foot, bicycle, and vehicle patrol. Fixed and pan/tilt zoom CCTV cameras will monitor and digitally record activity in a state-of-the-art security control center, designed to withstand a category 5 hurricane. In addition, the Wharf is donating a fully equipped police boat to the city of Orange Beach, which will be docked full-time at The Marina.

The Marina Market and Fish Tales Bar & Grill is scheduled to open in 2006. The Market will be stocked with top-of-the-line gear, equipment, accessories, food and beverages, gift items, charts and books, and other sea-faring necessities. Fish Tales Bar & Grill will lure boaters and landlubbers alike with its open air ambience and laid back attitude. This intimate gathering place will serve up cold beer, fresh seafood and burgers and provide a place for anglers, boaters and other water-enthusiasts to tell tales, swap stories, and meet friends.

As an additional benefit, Marina lessee’s are offered the opportunity to join the Armada Club with it’s exclusive amenities and guest services, including access to a beautifully landscaped pool area, the Outfitter’s Center, and a world-class spa.
