Wilkes gave an interesting and informative presentation on The Wharf project planned for Orange Beach.

The unique development located on the Intracoastal Canal by the Foley Beach Expressway, will have something for everyone. The Wharf is a five-phase project that will occupy approximately 200 acres of land. It will offer 350,000 square feet of retail space, a marina, multiple restaurants, a Rave Theatre, a multi-story Ferris wheel, a stadium-style amphitheatre, luxury condominiums, a half-mile long boardwalk lined with live oak trees and a bird sanctuary for nature enthusiast. With all these components, The Wharf will offer a plethora of activities for residents and visitors of Pleasure Island all year round.

Phase I of The Wharf is projected to open Fall 2005*. For more information, visit www.TheWharfAl.com.
